The San Francisco bay area is littered with county and regional parks, as well as open space preserves. These parks and preserves strive to protect the bay area's unique landscapes, flora, and fauna. Smaller, and usually with less facilities, these parks are a great way to explore the natural world of the bay without the cost of a state or national park. I will be working on adding more photos and blog posts related to these parks in the future.
